For our second foray into time loops, it's ABOUT TIME! This charming rom-com about a boy who discovers he can time travel by just thinking really hard about it is one of the more touching and even at times, dare I say, controversial pick amongst us all. Unfortunately, Vito and Mike were unable to join the discussion but Jesse and Dan are joined by Jesse's brother Austin!
This movie and episode hold a big place in our hearts just as a podcast as over a year ago, we attempted to do this episode for the first time. After three hours and many broken audio files, we called it quits, the first and only time we have ever given up on an episode and it was lost to time. But we knew it could never stay gone! Maybe at some point in the future we will dig up the many corrupted and broken files and cobble together a Frankenstein version of that episode, but for now listen in as the guys do a deep-dive on one of the more charming and confounding movies we have run across.

Well we surprised you all by bringing Jesse back before our Maximum Cage series finished and boy was that a surprise.
What can I say? Things happen here. Time is strange. There's no frontier anymore.
But anyway, the true meaning of the podcast is BACK as Jesse is not with us on this episode of MAXIMUM CAGE and we are joined by our constant companion, compatriot, seer, Letteney! He picks up some weighty reins here on Joe but boy is he equipped.
Some people really love this movie. Some find it a real bummer.

If you have never seen Con Air, do yourself a favor and watch this little unknown gem of a movie. Filled with nothing but heart, it's basically a buddy drama about a couple of guys trying to get home to their loved ones...
Who am I kidding, it's CON AIR! Nicolas Cage's best movie ever made, perhaps THE best movie ever made. They don't make them like this anymore. This is absolutely many father's movies and for us - well, we'll leave you in suspense.

Kidding, but we have arrived at the conclusion of the Dark Knight trilogy, one of the most foundational trilogies we have encountered in our lives. It was a shame that Jesse could not be a part of the show today, but Mike and Vito soldier on!
TDKR gets a lot of hate out there, but we sense the winds might be changing a bit as both Mike and Vito had some controversial takes!

Yo. It's Batman. One of the most (if not THE most) important movie to all 3 of our teenagehoods. We take a look back at this classic after not seeing it for a long time. With some fresh eyes and at new stages in life, we have some new thoughts on it. We also rehash our old thoughts about it.
Why was this a big deal?
Does this stand out from the other superhero movies?
Why is batman compelling?
How well has it aged?
How do we feel about showing this dark movie to our kids?
Does batman take himself too seriously, or does he need to lighten up?
